The performance was canceled due to indisposition of one of the company’s actors.

Due volte Tito – Sopravvivere alla tragedia was born out of the urgency to bring to light the violent aspects of our present through an operation of rewriting Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus. We reread the tragedy in an attempt to bring out and critique the social conditioning and patterns that ground Western culture. The violence that takes place within the pages of Titus is the same violence that, in ways now visible now invisible, springs from the patriarchal system that underlies our society.
