Suspended Tickets
POLIS Teatro Festival returns to Ravenna, in its new guise as an international festival of contemporary theater, and with it all the participatory projects that have always been at the heart of its activities, with a focus on inclusion and active citizenship that has been the festival’s soul since its first edition.
One of the longest-running projects is Suspended Tickets, created in 2019, which allows access to theater culture to the economically and socially vulnerable groups.
Since 2023, the project expands, inviting the social cooperatives of the territory of Ravenna to take an active part, purchasing and distributing Suspended Tickets within their own organizations, thus increasing the pool of people who will be able to take hold of this opportunity to get closer to the theater.
In 2025, the project expands again, inviting organizations, clubs and private entities to support the project and purchase Suspended Tickets to be distributed to social cooperatives, in order to encourage even more participation. The Suspended Tickets project thus becomes a community project, weaving a network extended throughout the province of Ravenna.
