POLIS Teatro Festival returns to Ravenna, in its new guise as an international festival of contemporary theater, and with it all the participatory projects that have always been at the heart of its activities, with a focus on inclusion and active citizenship that has been the festival’s soul since its first edition. One of the longest-running projects is Suspended Tickets, created in 2019 in collaboration with the social cooperative Villaggio Globale, which allows access to theater culture to the economically and socially vulnerable groups.

Since 2023, the project changes shape and expands, inviting also other social cooperatives of the territory of Ravenna to take an active part, purchasing and distributing Suspended Tickets within their own organizations, thus increasing the pool of people who will be able to take hold of this opportunity to get closer to the theater.
