Sustainability is at the heart of all practices of ErosAntEros – POLIS Teatro Festival, starting with eco-friendly integrated communication strategies, management practices of women empowerment. the respect of payments and contractual agreements, use of recycled materials and digital documents, promotion of Agenda 2030 sustainable development values by producing and programming performances and meetings committed to human rights, environmental protection, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace, and valuing diversity.

Since 2021, POLIS has been following a “less print, more environmental protection” communication policy that focuses festival content online. To be more environmentally friendly, POLIS also does not produce paper booklets, but makes in-depth content available exclusively in digital form through the festival’s web and social channels and by applying Qrcodes to essential paper materials that are still printed strictly on certified recycled paper.

The festival and ErosAntEros company favor eco-sustainable solutions, such as working with local suppliers, traveling by train, using recycled and/or recyclable materials, and creating and using immaterial theatrical scenes (made of projections and technical effects that can be found nearby) or made of easily transportable materials. The CRESCO coworking space where the ErosAntEros APS Association has its operational headquarters also follows a green ideology that favors reuse and the use of recycled materials.
