A Teen Odyssey is an immersive theatre experience, blending live physical performance and digital technology to create an unforgettable journey for teenagers and adults. Exploring themes of personal identity, intergenerational connection, and how we find our tribes, the audience joins the performers on a participatory, visually stunning, and sonically captivating adventure. Central to the experience is the innovative Kalliôpé app, created by Spanish theatre legends La Fura dels Baus – Fundació Èpica, which uses the audience’s mobile phones as the catalyst for interaction. A Teen Odyssey transcends theatrical boundaries, interweaving audience, performers and technology in ways you will find surprising and unforgettable.
“Embark on an immersive voyage through the realms of physical theatre, seamlessly interwoven with cutting-edge technologies. This captivating experience is tailored for those aged 12 and above, as well as adults who once navigated the tumultuous seas of adolescence. In a format that defies convention, we extend an invitation to our audience to become integral participants in the unfolding tapestry of life itself. As we embark on this collective journey, we ponder the path we shall forge.
This performance serves as an intergenerational reflection, weaving together the threads of our transient passage through the tangible and digital realms of existence.”
