POLIS Teatro Festival 2026: NORDIC FOCUS

From 5 to 10 May 2026, the city of Ravenna will once again welcome POLIS Teatro Festival.

The 9th edition, under the artistic direction of ErosAntEros, will be dedicated to a Nordic Focus: an in-depth look at contemporary theatre in the Baltic and Scandinavian countries, which is more relevant than ever.
The protagonists of the European scene will take to the city’s main cultural venues: from Teatro Rasi to MAR, from Artificerie Almagià to Teatro Socjale.

The programme features over 30 events, including performances, concerts, national premieres, round tables with international artists, critics and scholars, participatory projects and training workshops. There will also be a few surprises, which will be revealed at the right time.
