Between May 5th and 10th, the festival hosted thirty-five events, including performances and debates featuring the most prominent names from the Northern European theatre scene. The program included six national premieres and one preview, as well as opportunities for discussion and round tables between international artists, scholars, and professionals, confirming the festival’s commitment to high artistic quality.

Identity, censorship, female pleasure and the politics of the body, solitude, nostalgia, and community: these were the keywords that shone in the celestial vault of POLIS 2026.
