Il Manifesto dei diritti e dei doveri degli spettatori is a project created during the lockdown to offer first and foremost to the audience, but also to operators and professionals, a tool to return to the experience of live performance with confidence. During the various stages of the project throughout the peninsula, the Manifesto was enriched with reflections on the role of the spectator – who is not the margin but the foundation of theater -, the importance of his involvement and the need to listen to him. POLIS, which has always been a promoter of the active participation of spectators, opens its doors and becomes a stage for this important project: creating a unique opportunity in which spectators will be the undisputed protagonists, while cultural operators in the area will be invited to listen and ask “questions from the audience”.
